September Prayer

As the leaves start to consider their fall to the ground,

may we also find ourselves there,

resting in wait for autumns amber touch,

the support of mother earth,

and the quiet chill from northwestern winds,

making us gather with our fallen friends

to find the warmth of spirited kinship once again.
