Open to life

as children do when

their parents dress them in

constricting cloth of what is proper

and they tear it off to reveal

their glorious truth which is

naked and exposed

In their natural, sensitive state

they run out into the open field

up over the mountains

kiss the sky

skip over the moon

Laughing little leprechauns

they wink, click their heels

slide down the rainbow

while never leaving the backyard

Freedom is within

Every child knows it and you

who were once a child

still are a child in waiting

for that moment

when Mommy and Daddy’s layers

can be stripped away

in favour of

Naked

Exposed

Natural

Truth
